As the wall to the back stairs was striped back, it became clear that it could be cut back to allow much more natural light into the kitchen. Anton immediately proposed eliminating the bathroom door and, instead, accessing it from the entry hall. This will work well although means we lose the coat closet. It does, however, mean redesigning the kitchen layout – which is causing some headaches.
